The WA Boomerang Association acknowledges the Aboriginal people of the many traditional lands and language groups of Western Australia. It acknowledges the wisdom of Aboriginal Elders both past and present and pays respect to Aboriginal communities of today

WABA would like to wish everyone a safe and happy festive season, thank you to everyone for your support over the year and we look forward to throwing with you all in 2023.

​

We will be having the State championships in either March or April and the Australian Nationals have been set for April in Victoria, more information to come.

​

We are on the look out for any community events we can attend, local markets or school fetes where we can teach and set up a stall to talk and sell boomerangs. Get in touch today if you know of any up and coming events that you think would be suitable for us.

BoomerGals Unofficial Throwing Club​

​

WABA co-founder Christene has created an unofficial throwing club with the sole aim to encourage more girls and ladies to get have a go at sports, with the focus on sport boomerangs.

We dont expect world champions but rather ladies just having a go! 

We have a Facebook page to share our love of boomerangs, so if you have thrown boomerangs or just enjoy the sport let us know, we have BoomerGals all the the World!
